This policy sets out how an Edunison subscription is cancelled and when fees are refunded. It forms part of the Subscription Terms and should be read with them.
1. Cancelling a subscription
A subscription is cancelled by choosing not to renew it. Tell us before the current term ends, by writing to support@edunison.com.
The Service continues uninterrupted until the end of the term already paid for. Access closes at the end of that term.
Because we ask for agreement before each renewal rather than charging automatically, no action is needed to avoid an unwanted renewal beyond declining it.
2. Refunds after the Service has started
The subscription is a digital service. Performance begins when the account and the institution's subdomain are activated.
Once performance has begun, fees for the current term are not refundable, except as set out in section 3. The Customer is a business buying for professional purposes, so statutory consumer withdrawal rights do not apply.
If you are nonetheless a consumer under the law of your own country and that law grants a right of withdrawal, you may exercise it within the period that law provides. By asking us to activate the Service immediately you acknowledge that performance begins at once and that the right of withdrawal is lost once the Service has been fully supplied — as Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU permits.
3. When we do refund
**Material defect attributable to us.** If the Service has a material defect that we cause and do not remedy within a reasonable time after written notice, and the subscription ends mid-term for that reason, we refund the fees for the unused part of the term, calculated pro rata by day.
**Force majeure termination.** Where a subscription is terminated under the force majeure clause of the Subscription Terms, the unused part of the term is refunded pro rata.
**Add-on modules** are assessed separately according to whether and how they were used.
Any refund is net of amounts owed to us, the value of the service already supplied, and any deduction required by law.
4. How refunds are paid
Refunds are made to the original means of payment, through iyzico, in the currency of the original payment.
We start the refund within fourteen (14) days of approving it. How long it then takes to appear depends on the card issuer or bank, which is outside our control.
Where currency has moved between payment and refund, the amount returned is the amount originally charged in the original currency; we are not responsible for exchange differences applied by your bank.
